Our Relationship with
Your Veterinarian

Our relationship with your referring veterinarian is very important for the continued care of your pet. We strive to keep your veterinarian informed of your pet’s progress and treatment plan daily. Together, they can determine appropriate therapy or care and long-term medical management of your pet’s condition.

Your doctor will receive a fax daily or a phone update to keep him/her informed of your pet’s care. We encourage your doctor to maintain communication with our doctors at PBVS, following discharge from our facility to ensure your pet receives the best care possible. Changes in therapy may be made following consultation between our doctors at PBVS, and your referring veterinarian.

If possible, we also encourage owners to have follow-up diagnostics (blood work, x-rays) performed at their facility and then forward the results to our doctors for review.
